Linda Pappa is an artist, designer & writer from Greece.

 
 

ARTISTIC
EXPRESSION

My artistic practice is without a doubt a very spiritual practice, led by a certain fascination with exploring the presence of primordial energy in all living things.

This creative exploration is a cyclical and embodied one. Everything I create comes to life through a very intimate communion and co-creation with Earth.

All parts of that conversation and process feel like a ceremony, from start to finish. I often use native pigments, wild clays and dyes that I gather in Nature and process by hand. What I come to manifest are pieces that are channeled, raw, and full of messages. I create divinatory paintings, as well as ritualistic ceramic pieces and installations.

When I am not in my studio on the ancient island of Crete, I enjoy travelling around the world, collecting insights from lands with different energies, and creating artworks in places that my soul feels aligned to.

GUIDING & SHARING

My relationship with Earth runs deep. I am an avid believer that true sustainability, wellness and spiritual evolution all have to do with restoring our relationship to the Land.

I am incredibly driven by ancestral connection, in an effort to reclaim collective wisdom about weaving our inner and outer worlds together. Animism, Earth medicine and Elemental connection are a huge part of my life and a guide to my artistic expression - and I am on continuously on the humble path of learning and growing.

Transmitting what I learn is important to me. I have written about the art of connecting with the Elements, and I am always putting more resources together. I enjoy sharing and guiding others into embodied, Nature-based approaches to freedom, embodied living, intuitive creativity and self inquiry, holding spaces in the form of online gatherings, workshops, creative circles and retreats.

Linda is currently based on the island of Crete where she has a rural home and studio in the mountains. She also travels on a regular basis to seek inspiration, connect and inspire others. She has pursued artistic projects around the world including Japan, Africa & the deserts of California.
